Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 15:15); 5x8-Hour (10:15 - 19:15) Experience: 2 years required License: Must have a DC license or a compact/MD license Certifications: BLS, CST Must-Have: Travel experience, Laparoscopic & Robotic (DaVinci) experience Description: Certified OR Tech/CST is required. Orientation occurs every Monday. Shifts alternate between 0645-1515 and 1045-1915. Four shifts will be 0645-1515, with one shift per week at 1045-1915. BLS and CST certifications are required. Two years of experience is necessary. Travel experience is required. Laparoscopic and Robotic (DaVinci) experience is mandatory. Call is required for 8 hours per week and 12 hours of weekend call within a six-week schedule. Holiday call is also required. Two supervisory references are needed, including one from the most recent assignment. Experience within the last seven years is essential. Candidates must complete a minimum of one travel assignment to be considered. No requested time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Available time off must be included at the time of submission and cannot be changed once submitted. Candidates must pass the required health compliance modules upon hire. Completion of labs and appointments must happen within 48 hours of signing.
