Technical Professionals Group, a leading provider of technical solutions in automotive testing and validation, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fowlerville, MI. The ideal candidate will have previous management and supervisory experience, along with a strong background in maintaining and operating heavy machinery.

Perform maintenance on various heavy machinery used in automotive testing and validation.

Operate various heavy machinery safely and efficiently.

Conduct facility maintenance, including coordination of repairs and upgrades as needed.

Assist with lubrication, oil changes, and guided mechanic maintenance activities.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team.

Proven experience in managing and supervising maintenance operations (preferred, not required)

Technical proficiency in maintaining and operating heavy machinery.

Knowledge of facility maintenance practices and procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or vocational training preferred.

Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in automotive or industrial settings, is advantageous.

Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to heavy machinery operations.

Standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, carrying and moving items of up to 50 lbs. and more

Ability to perform essential job functions in an environment with varied noise levels

The environment may be dusty, noisy and open to interior temperature changes
