Make a meaningful impact by supporting PreK students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a contracted, on-site role. This opportunity focuses exclusively on early learners, providing direct, in-person speech and language therapy services in a school setting conveniently located near Zolfo Springs, FL. With a flexible schedule of up to 25 hours per week, you’ll be able to dedicate your expertise to young children at a crucial stage in their development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP in Florida
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to the unique needs of PreK children
- Reliable availability for in-person sessions up to 25 hours weekly
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses for PreK students
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans
- Provide direct, hands-on speech and language therapy tailored to young learners
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent support
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
