Progress Software Engineer

Location: Detroit, MI or Remote

Duration: Long Term Contract

Rate: DOE

US Citizens, Green Cards, TN Visa and EAD preferred. No Third Party Agencies

What You Will Do:

Understand requirements; develop, document, and implement designs
Work with team to manage project delivery and solve technical issues
Participate in design and code reviews
Ensure that deliverables meet or exceed functional, technical, and performance requirements

Required:

Solid working knowledge in Progress, Progress 4GL, or Open Edge application development
2-4 years of experience with Progress ABL v11 or higher
2+ years of Web Speed experience
Experience working in an Agile environment; collaborative development experience
HTML experience
Software testing and design experience

Desired:

SAFE methodology experience
GIT/TFS experience
Web development experience, primarily with Ajax, JQuery, and/or JavaScript
ABL Unit experience
