Civil Engineering Intern (Airfields) - Summer 2027

The Opportunity We currently seek a Civil Engineering Intern for our Airfields team in our Austin, TX office. The Civil Engineering Intern will be mentored by and collaborate with the top Engineering associates on our team. The selected candidate will work with associates assisting on a variety of conventional and design-build projects that combine innovative Texas roadway and/or Aviation design with a strong knowledge of technical standards to exceed client expectations and provide cost-effective solutions. This is an amazing opportunity to gain hands-on experience and a better understanding of the Infrastructure Engineering Industry. Responsibilities: Perform routine calculations requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles Prepare and revise plan documents details Collect and prepare data for evaluation Perform engineering tasks with the use of computer-assisted design software and equipment Provide support to engineering and project management associates Qualifications: Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university Anticipated Graduate Date between December 2026 and May 2027 Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously Strong work ethic aligning with the company’smission and core values Preferred Qualifications: 2.5 GPA or above Prior internship or related experience AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience Specific interest in Airfield Design #LI-JW1 #WayUp An Equal Opportunity Employer.
