Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

7a - 7p / 7p - 7a, Full-Time Days/Nights/Weekends, including Holidays.

Assignment Details

Permanent position.

Requirements

• Current New York State license as a registered professional nurse.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through RQI system during clinical orientation.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association within 2 years of hire; TNCC within 2 years of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
• Computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care, ensuring safety and promoting dignity and respect.
• Conduct assessments and interpret data to meet the needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
• Enhance teamwork through effective role modeling and communication.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and interact professionally with patients and staff.
