About the Position

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis of patient specimens.
• Conduct routine and complex laboratory procedures according to established protocols.
• Prepare, process, and analyze blood, urine, and other biological specimens.
• Perform quality control testing and ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.
• Review, verify, and validate test results before reporting.
• Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and patient testing records.
• Communicate critical or abnormal results to appropriate clinical staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic testing.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
• Must be a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
• Medical Lab Technicians will not be considered.
• Required certification: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS.
• Clinical laboratory/specimen testing experience preferred.
