Role Description
A highly motivated individual who has in-depth knowledge of design and architectural patterns, devises smart TV application development methodologies, is the one we are looking for. Get in touch if you are proficient at generating code in existing codebases or from scratch. The right candidate should also be able to work within a team and efficiently under pressure.
- Build dynamic web-based LG and Samsung Smart TV applications with JavaScript frameworks.
- Have in-depth knowledge of design and architectural patterns and know when to apply them.
- Have strong communication skills in order to bounce ideas and solutions off of peers and know when to ask for help.
- Devise Smart TV application development methodologies, testing practices, tools and implementation.
- Create prototypes of new ideas and explore new technologies at the forefront of Smart TV platforms.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development in applicable technologies OR 2+ years of working specifically on set-top or OTT platforms.
- Previous experience with LG and Samsung Smart TV development.
- Proficient at generating code in existing codebases and from scratch.
- Experience building solutions that utilize NoSQL databases and distributed caching technologies.
- Experience deploying and scaling within a cloud infrastructure.
