Business Systems Analyst: Deltek Vantagepoint

Overview We are seeking aDeltekVantagepoint System Administratorto join our Information Technology team. In this role, you willbe responsible foradministering, configuring, andoptimizingourDeltekVantagepointfinancial managementsystem. This is a hands-on position focused on ensuringsystem reliability, data integrity, and alignment with accounting and operational workflows. The ideal candidate combines strongtechnicalexpertisewith a solid understanding ofproject-based accounting environmentsand enjoys partnering with business teams to improve systems, automate workflows, and increase operational efficiency. We are particularly interested in candidates who arecurious about emerging technologies such as automation and AIandmotivated to explore how these tools can streamline processes and improve the way teams work. Responsibilities Administer, configure, andmaintaintheDeltekVantagepoint system, including system settings, workflows, security roles, and user access. Manage system changes and updates through the Change Management process, ensuring proper documentation and governance. Collaborate with Accounting,Human Resources, andotherOperations teams to support business processes and implement system improvements. Plan, test, and implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in coordination with internal teams and external vendors. Maintain and support integrations with other enterprise systems. Develop andmaintainreports, dashboards, and custom fields to support financial and operational reporting needs. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize disruption to business operations. Ensure data integrity and system accuracy through audits, validation processes, and governance standards. Create andmaintainsystem documentation, including configuration guides and standard operating procedures. Provide end-user support and training as needed. Identifyopportunities toautomate manual processes and improve system workflows, including exploring the use ofAI and automation toolsto drive efficiency across teams. Qualifications Required: 4+ years of experience administering and supportingDeltekVantagepoint or similarDeltekERP systems. Knowledge ofDeltekrevenue generation methods and processes. Strong understanding of project-based accounting principles, including: Revenue recognition Accounts payable processing Billing Labor costing Experience with system configuration, security administration, and reporting. Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Preferred: Experience in architecture, engineering, or professional services firms. Experience withEleviaSoftware applications Familiarity with SQL and database concepts. Experience with ERP integrations and API-based data exchange. Exposure tobusiness intelligence, automation platforms, or AI-enabled tools. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or otherCustomerRelationship Management systems. This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours .
