As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Monroe, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting with visitor and employee flow. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility services location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain entry records, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access exceptions, and shift activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
