Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. Responsibilities Perform stereotactic biopsy procedures and/or quality control (QC) activities specific to mammography. Execute a full range of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms. Operate with a level of autonomy and indirect supervision appropriate to the position. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)). Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). Preferred One (1) year of experience in mammography. One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or QC specific to mammography.
