Anyone can supervise toddlers. Very few people can turn a full-body meltdown over a broken banana into a calm, connected moment ninety seconds later — and then watch that same child stack blocks with real focus twenty minutes after. We enter our 35th year in Toledo this fall as a NAEYC Accredited, Step Up To Quality Gold Rated program, and our Standards of Excellence framework exists for exactly this reason — so educators who do this well have a real, documented path (Strong Contributor, Difference Maker, Above & Beyond) instead of a vague "you're doing great" and nothing else.

You won't have to wait a year to know if you're succeeding. Structured onboarding, a Mentor Educator from day one, and paid weekly planning time mean you're supported before you've had to prove yourself, not after.

We also don't leave you to manage a room of two-year-olds alone or underprepared. We hold a 1-to-6 ratio in toddler rooms, tighter than the state requires, and Conscious Discipline is the shared language across every classroom — not something you're inventing solo. Full-Time or Part-Time both work here depending on your life right now.

What it takes: a Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field, real knowledge of toddler development and positive guidance strategies, and Ohio's licensing requirements met for this age group. One honest note — we've seen more candidates lately accept a role and vanish when something else comes along. Toddlers don't do well with inconsistency, and neither do we.
