This is NOT a remote or virtual position.Employment Type: Locum tenens contract, 1.0 FTE (2,080 hours/year). One-year base period (anticipated January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2027), with two one-year option periods through December 31, 2029.Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CST, onsite 8 hours per day. No nights, weekends, call, or federal holidays.About the RoleAptive Resources is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician (MD/DO) to provide primary care to Veterans at the Lyle C. Pearson VA Clinic in Mankato, Minnesota. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System has a shortage of primary care providers, and this locums physician will manage a patient panel while the VA recruits a permanent provider.You will care for a panel of approximately 1,000 general medicine patients, seeing up to 14 scheduled patients per day plus up to 4 walk-ins. Visits are a mix of face-to-face and VA Video Connect (VVC) virtual visits, as determined by the VA based on clinical need.
