Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer to perform diagnostic vascular and echocardiogram procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. The candidate will support imaging services in accordance with clinical protocols and assist physicians with image acquisition and interpretation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate ultrasound and echocardiography equipment to capture high-quality images of cardiovascular structures
• Assess patient conditions and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Gather and document clinical history to aid in accurate diagnosis
• Maintain proper calibration and quality control of imaging devices
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols during all procedures
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure diagnostic accuracy and timely reporting

Qualifications:

• Hold an accredited Sonographer or Echocardiographer certification (ARDMS preferred)
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of experience in vascular and cardiac ultrasound procedures
• Possess proficiency in operating advanced ultrasound and echocardiography equipment
• Maintain current BLS and potentially ACLS certification
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent patient communication skills
