Professional Development Specialist
Vedder Price is a corporate law firm headquartered in Chicago. With 300 lawyers and growing, they serve sophisticated clients of all sizes and in virtually all industries. They also have offices in New York, Washington D.C., London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Singapore, and Dallas.
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid, 3 days/week on-site, 2 days/week WFH)
Salary: Up to 65K

Position summary:
You will be working with the Manager of Professional Development as well as the Professional Development Assistant to help facilitate Vedder Price University (VDU) educational attorney/paralegal training programs and to ensure the delivery of high-quality continuing legal education (CLE) programming. You will oversee and maintain the administration of the firm's CLE/training database (CE Manager). You will also use your research skills to respond to CLE and training-related questions, including generating quarterly and annual Accredited CLE Provider reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the legal industry and familiarity with CLE
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice to haves:
- At least 2 years of previous experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience with Continuing Education Management
