We are thrilled to invite applications for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at a premier Academic Medical Center in the heart of Mississippi. This facility, boasting over 700 beds and recognized as a level 1 trauma center, serves as the leading academic institution in the region and features a comprehensive GI fellowship program. The selected candidate will have the chance to engage in a fulfilling career that encompasses clinical practice, educational initiatives, and research opportunities, should they choose to pursue them. Our division specializes in various fields, including:

• Liver disease and transplant hepatology
• Advanced interventional endoscopy
• Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
• GI motility
• Gastrointestinal oncology
• General gastrointestinal and digestive health

• Join a collaborative team of 10 clinical faculty members and an IBD Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
• Strong support from an Advanced Endoscopy and Transplant Hepatology team
• Seeking multiple General Gastroenterologists to enhance our team
• Plans to expand outpatient clinics and endoscopy services across Jackson
• A new Satellite Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is set to open in Madison, MS in 2026
• On-campus Endoscopy Lab featuring five procedure rooms
• Faculty appointment with the largest program in the state
• Opportunity for candidates interested in the GI Fellowship Director role
• Strong internal referral network
• 90% clinical responsibilities and 10% educational involvement
• Robust GI Fellowship Program with nine trainees
• Systemwide EPIC EMR
• Attractive compensation package, including sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a productivity-based structure (90% MGMA)
