Stepdown Registered Nurse

This position is for a Stepdown Registered Nurse working three 12-hour night shifts per week. A holiday rotation is required. Travelers must be willing to float between similar units as needed. The role demands strong clinical skills and the ability to manage patients who require more specialized care. The nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric populations. In this setting, you will encounter a variety of patient diagnoses and will need to be equipped to address their complex needs. Candidates must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications, and NIHSS is preferred. The facility ensures a robust environment that emphasizes teamwork and quality patient care. Please be aware of the potential for emergency response assignments during designated seasons. The role involves emotional resilience and flexibility, particularly in high-pressure situations. Additional skills and experiences related to critical care management will be beneficial. Travelers are expected to be vigilant regarding patient safety and adherence to protocols. Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative healthcare team is essential. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful patient care and support health outcomes. All time-off requests must be submitted prior to the start date for consideration. Travel compliance and clearances will be required prior to commencing duties.
