West Valley Psychiatric Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring a tailored approach that meets their unique needs. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). \n
- Engage in ongoing therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensuring patient privacy. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to provide a holistic approach to mental health support. \n
- Document client progress and treatment outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. \n
- Participate in regular team meetings and peer supervision sessions, sharing best practices and receiving feedback to foster professional growth. \n
- Actively contribute to the development and improvement of treatment protocols and organizational procedures. \n
You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, teens, adults, and families experiencing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Our practice prides itself on offering services that respect cultural backgrounds and individual values, allowing clients to engage fully in their healing journey.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a closely related field. \n
- Active, unrestricted LMFT license that is compliant with all state regulations. \n
- Proficient bilingual skills in both Spanish and English, capable of delivering therapeutic services effectively. \n
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting, specifically working with a diverse range of clients. \n
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to empathize and connect with clients from varied backgrounds. \n
- Experience providing culturally competent care and tailoring therapeutic modalities to meet clients' unique needs. \n
- Willingness to work with various insurance providers as an in-network therapist. \n

- Demonstrated expertise in specialized areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health. \n
- Practical knowledge and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies. \n
- Experience facilitating group therapy sessions, with a focus on building community and fostering support among clients. \n
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in training opportunities and workshops. \n
The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus to eligible candidates.
