Radiologic Technologist

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for performing CT examinations according to established protocols to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures on patients of all ages. Operate CT scanners and associated equipment. Position patients accurately for optimal image acquisition. Administer contrast media as required and in accordance with established policies. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to radiation safety principles. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. Schedule / Shift Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Includes a lunch break Required Qualifications Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT). Must be accredited in CT by the ARRT. Competent in performing CT exams. Basic CT skills required. Certifications ARRT RT (R) ARRT RT (CT) Experience Experience performing CT exams, particularly in an ER setting. Skills Competency in performing CT exams. Familiarity with CT scanning protocols. Knowledge of IV contrast policies. EMR / Systems Meditech Synapse PACS Unit / Specialty CT Radiology Floating / On-Call No floating required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
