Job Summary:
At Haida Nursing and Rehab, our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. As a Dietary Cook at Haida, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals that cater to our residents' diverse dietary needs and preferences.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and nutritional guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to Haida's high standards of sanitation and hygiene
Collaborate with the dietary team to develop and implement meal plans that meet the unique needs of our residents
Monitor and record food temperatures, inventory, and quality control to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, visitors, and facility staff
Participate in performance improvement initiatives to ensure continuous quality and excellence
