Job Posting: Warehouse Operations Analyst California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) Job Code: JC-521965 Classification: Analyst I Salary: $3,861.00 – $6,276.00 per month (depending on grade and experience) Location: Dixon, Solano County, California Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Hybrid telework is available; additional in‑office days may be required based on business needs. Responsibilities Analyze warehouse workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Manage asset tracking software and conduct regular data validation to maintain accuracy. Research policy options and prepare reports to support program efficiency and emergency readiness. Provide analytical administrative support during day‑to‑day operations and urgent emergency activations. Maintain strict confidentiality and produce clear written communications for management and external partners. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and implement operational changes. Minimum Qualifications Position classification: ANALYST I. Eligibility to apply under the California State classification system. Must meet all qualifications listed in the Classification Specification for Analyst I. Desirable Qualifications Integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, and teamwork. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and follow oral and written directions. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data sets, reconciliations, and accuracy checks. Experience using Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and tracking databases. Ability to evaluate procedures, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements. Experience developing formal reports, policy memos, or correspondence on operational metrics. Operational agility: manage shifting priorities during short‑term tasks, deadlines, or emergency response demands. Quality‑control mindset and knowledge of state and federal policies governing warehouse operations. Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external partners.
