Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | 36–40 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform OR circulating nurse duties across a variety of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, GYN, General Surgery, Urology, Plastics, Spine, Podiatry, ENT, and Ophthalmology
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 6-suite OR environment, including a dedicated cardiac surgery OR
• Operate and manage multiple standard OR equipment pieces in a fast-paced surgical setting
• Document patient care accurately using the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system
• Fulfill on-call requirements including second call one weekend per month and first/second call twice per pay period
• Adapt quickly to variable weekend and on-call scheduling as needed by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of OR circulating experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, spine, and urology
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and flexibility skills
• Familiarity with the Paragon EHR system
