About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales Performance for its commerce events portfolio. This high-impact role is pivotal in elevating the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of the sales organization, with a focus on driving global sales performance for a team of approximately 40 salespeople. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing end-to-end sales processes, accelerating sales cycles, and using data and analytics to ensure continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering internal and external sales training programs, leading recruiting efforts to attract top sales talent, and ensuring strong systems adherence across the sales organization. The role also involves designing and implementing commission and incentive strategies, owning accurate sales forecasting, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Applicants for the VP of Sales Performance role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of senior experience in sales, sales operations, or performance leadership, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through sales optimization at scale. Deep expertise in sales operations, incentive design, sales training, and CRM/analytics tools is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence, the ability to influence without direct authority, and experience leading in global, fast-paced, high-growth environments. High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and comfort with complexity and ambiguity are also key attributes for this position.
