Product Lifecycle Manager – Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B), Oklahoma City, OK Position Overview Reporting to the Division PLM Senior Manager, the Product Lifecycle Manager leads a team responsible for all Configuration & Data Management activities on the B‑52 program. Responsibilities include planning, identification, change and variance management, Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), verification and audits, data management, scheduling deliveries for all CDRLs and non‑CDRLS, tracking and coordinating deliveries, and ensuring performance to plan. The manager also develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners; provides oversight of technical approaches and processes; and motivates employees. The role participates in the MS&B division PLM management team, promotes standardization of PLM processes across the division, and oversees improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Plan and manage configuration and data management activities for the B‑52 program. Identify, manage change and variance, and maintain Configuration Status Accounting (CSA). Conduct verification, audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Schedule and track deliveries of CDRLs and non‑CDRLS, making deliveries to the customer and releasing drawings, models, and documentation. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Oversee technical approaches, products, and processes, providing oversight and approval. Lead and motivate employees, directing daily team operations and performance. Promote and implement standard PLM processes and tools across the division. Seek and apply continuous improvement opportunities on projects and within the team. Ensure safety culture leadership, identifying and correcting conditions that affect employee, public, and customer safety. Ensure project completion on schedule and within budget. Basic Qualifications At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Relevant professional experience in configuration and data management or related disciplines. Proven experience leading cross‑disciplinary technical teams (software, AI/ML, data science) and managing delivery of production systems. Strong leadership skills, including hiring, performance management, and career development. Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and partnering with cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Degree in engineering, computer science, or data‑related discipline. Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries with exposure to certification, quality, and data‑marking requirements. Familiarity with PLM environments such as Dassault Systèmes 3D Experience, Windchill, CMPRO, Teamcenter/IPDM, DCAC. Experience in SAFe Agile methodologies and understanding of scrum structure and roles. Experience with related PLM tools such as CSDT, REDARS, ADADs. Additional Information This position requires 100% onsite presence in Oklahoma City, OK, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). A U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required. Shift: 1st shift. Relocation based on candidate eligibility. The role is not subject to export control or safety‑sensitive status.
