[1642P] Residential Counselor

Title: Residential Counselor - MAP Location: New Taunton Ave Pay Range: $20 - $23.75 Schedule: 40 hrs Mon-Thur: 3p-11p and Sat: 8a-4p FLSA: Non Exempt Benefits Time Off - 4 weeks combined vacation, personal and cultural holiday 12 paid holidays 2 weeks Sick Time Highly Specialized Paid Trainings including opportunity to earn CEUs HSA and Competitive Benefit Package 403B plan with discretionary match Wellness Activities Employee Assistance Program Career Development Opportunities Responsibilities Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills. Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance. Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care. Transport residents to appointments and community activities. Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies. Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation. Qualifications High school diploma/GED; mental health experience preferred. MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification is required. Candidates without current certification must be willing to complete employer‑provided training and successfully obtain certification within 3 months. Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.). Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.
