Addiction Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Hi,

We have a great opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner available for a contract. Here are the details:

Position: Nurse Practitioner
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Length: 3 months
Schedule: 20 hours/week (2 3 days, Mon Fri)
Hours: 4:30 AM 1:30 PM
Location: Clinic setting

Overview:
This role supports patient care in a substance abuse treatment setting. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, physical exams, medication management, and collaborating with the Medical Director, nursing staff, and counselors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct admission and annual physical exams
• Review labs and provide patient evaluations
• Issue medication orders and adjustments
• Support emergency patient care as needed
• Assist with nursing staff training
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in substance abuse
• Active NP license
• BLS certification
• DEA (Schedule II & III) with ability to prescribe buprenorphine
• Active Medicaid/Medicare credentials
• Comfortable with basic computer systems
