Senior Project Manager - Education and Public Works Sectors

Senior Project Manager – Education STV is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Education for its California PM/CM Group, Education and Public Works Sectors. Key Responsibilities Organize cross‑functional activities and coordinate project work efforts to deliver project milestones, schedule, and budget. Develop and manage proposals, project initiation, execution/control, and closeout for construction projects. Manage project budgets, extra work requests, and invoicing. Participate in project‑specific marketing, proposal preparation, and presentations to secure successful project selection. Plan the complete project execution and develop the project manual. Collaborate with Senior Managers to schedule and monitor manpower requirements against budget and spending performance. Manage project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, discipline requirements, resources, procurement, and risk elements to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 15+ years of experience in K‑12 or higher education, or public works construction. Senior member experience interacting with clients on site and assisting senior leaders in managing projects from initiation through preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout. Experience procuring work opportunities within the market sector. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with BIM, P6, Procore, or E‑builder preferred. Additional credentials such as LEED, DBIA, PMP, CCM, RA, PE preferred but not required. Formal training in project management preferred. Good understanding of project contract terms, conditions, and scope of work.
