Pay: 35.13 - 52.70 / hour

Summary:

This position evaluates plans and implements treatment programs for the rehabilitation of patients as directed by a provider using approved treatment procedures. Provides patient/family education. Participates in family conferences. Responsible for all necessary documentation as required by accepted medical guidelines.

This position works under the supervision of Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Duties:

Evaluates patients referred by providers.

Plans a treatment program using appropriate treatment procedures that will best accomplish the established goals.

Implements the treatment program using approved procedures.

Documents treatment procedures and the patients response to them on a regular basis.

Responsible for treatment procedures documentation and supervision of occupational therapy assistants occupational therapy students and Rehab Aide.

Qualifications:

Graduate of accredited occupational therapy school with Bachelor of Science/ARTS is required.

Licensed Occupational Therapist in State of Missouri within 60 days of hire.

BLS certification required.
