Job Position: Plasma Operator

Location: Fresno, TX 77545

Pay Rate: $16.00+/hr

Shift:

Description: $16+ per hour. some OT
• Observe and manage machine operation such as the burn table and hydro testing station to detect workplace defects and ensure safety policies are being followed.
• Ensure accurate stamping of serial numbers is applied to required hydro equipment.
• Safely operate various equipment including impact wrenches to install and remove fittings.
• Accurately interpret and distinguish between various plate types and sizes.
• Perform plasma related consumable maintenance as required.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance for plasma usage as required.
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and overhead cranes in accordance to company safety policies and procedures.
• Responsible for checking accuracy in the time log MES system.
• Perform other duties as assigned. • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
• Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).
• Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
• Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a productive/technical nature.
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
