We're seeking an experienced and dedicated ER RN to join a small, high-performing team at a critical access hospital in Townsend, Montana. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a tight-knit community while practicing across various emergency cases.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Montana or eligibility to obtain
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (or must be obtained upon hire)
• Minimum 1 year of ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

As an ER RN, you will provide prompt and effective care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions. You'll triage and assess patients, initiate care protocols, administer medications, and work closely with physicians and clinical staff to develop and implement treatment plans. The role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make rapid decisions in high-stress situations. You will monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and patient responses while educating patients and families on ongoing care, discharge instructions, and preventive health. Maintaining a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment is essential.
