Family Link and SNAP Therapist
Youth Crisis Center Inc
Job Description
Job Description
Company Overview
At Youth Crisis Center (YCC), we don’t just respond to crises—we prevent them. As a leader in youth behavioral health and family support services, YCC provides a comprehensive continuum of care including crisis stabilization, counseling, prevention, and community-based interventions. Our work is rooted in meeting youth and families where they are—whether in homes, schools, or the community—and equipping them with the tools to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and achieve long-term success.
Our team is mission-driven, collaborative, and deeply committed to making a measurable impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and families across our community. If you are passionate about meaningful, hands-on clinical work that creates real change, YCC is where your work matters.
Position Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Family Link & SNAP Therapist, where your work directly impacts children, adolescents, and families facing behavioral health, family, and social challenges. This role provides an opportunity to deliver counseling, case management, and community-based support services in a client-centered environment focused on prevention, family strengthening, and overall well-being.
The therapist provides short-term counseling and case management services in office, school, home, and community settings. Using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, the therapist works with individuals, families, and groups to address family dynamics, parenting concerns, behavioral issues, school-related challenges, emotional regulation, anger management, self-esteem, grief and loss, and mental health needs.
The therapist also facilitates evening SNAP (Stop Now and Plan) groups, an evidence-based program that helps children and families develop emotional regulation, problem-solving, self-control, and prosocial skills. Through collaboration with families, schools, and community partners, the therapist helps bridge gaps in care, strengthen support systems, and promote positive outcomes for children and families.
