Top requirements:

• Process development capabilities. Within data quality. Because they will be rolling it out to the org. They will act as first level of support for DE and Analysts who are using the tool. Not JUST building dashboards although they will do some of that. They will mostly roll this out to the org.
• Understanding DQ measures and how to measure DQ- Difference between accuracy, completeness, time limits etc.
• SQL- Strong SQL skills. Understand and edit. Not going to have to be building from scratch.
• Data profiling experience
• Good communication. Will present.

Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:

This resource will be responsible for data profiling. They will not be correcting the data themselves but will look at data from a higher level and call out any discrepancies. They will be standing up the Data Quality core competencies using SQL and must understand the reasons why data quality is important (accuracy, completeness, time limits etc.).

• Ataccama
• Analysis – understanding data quality measures and how to measure data quality (difference between accuracy, completeness, and timeliness)
• Data quality process development
• Data Profiling
• SQL skills relevant – being able to understand SQL and edit SQL – not a lot you have to build from scratch – atta comma uses own version of SQL and Syntax – tools helps with that
