HVAC TechWe are seeking a skilled building maintenance technician with a strong background in industrial HVAC systems to support the operation, maintenance, and performance at a development facility in the Milwaukee, WI area. This role is responsible for ensuring building systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, with a primary emphasis on HVAC infrastructure.RequirementsValid driver's license is requiredAbility to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions (heights, confined spaces, indoor/outdoor environments)Availability to respond to on-call or emergency situations as neededKey ResponsibilitiesOversee the operation and maintenance of building systems, with a strong focus on industrial HVAC equipmentService, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systemsPerform preventative and predictive maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related mechanical systemsMonitor building automation systems (BAS) and adjust HVAC controls to optimize performance and energy efficiencyDiagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and controls-related HVAC issuesCoordinate and support third-party vendors and contractors performing specialized repairs or installationsConduct routine inspections of facilities and building systems to ensure compliance with safety and operational standardsMaintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, system performance, and repairsRespond promptly to service requests, equipment alarms, and emergency situationsAssist with general building maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and structural systems as neededSupport continuous improvement initiatives to increase system reliability and reduce downtimeQualificationsProven experience as a HVAC Technician in an industrial and/or commercial environmentStrong hands-on experience with industrial HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repairsWorking knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC controlsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentsEPA certification requiredStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently across multiple sitesWork EnvironmentWork environments include mechanical rooms, rooftops, and outdoor conditionsCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation for the position is: $30.69 - $36.10.
