Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: Seasonal Contract - 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: EFM competency ACLS certification BLS certification NRP certification SVE competency C-Section circulation experience 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery Description: This is a seasonal contract position for a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery. The role requires rotating weekends but has no call requirements. The position involves working with a patient ratio of 1:2. The unit includes 32 beds and operates with a staff of 150. On both day and night shifts, there will be a charge nurse, co-charge nurse, and registered nurses available to provide adequate patient care. Equipment utilized on the unit includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound. Candidates must demonstrate EFM competency and C-Section circulation experience. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a high-volume unit and who have internal monitor placement competency. Typical procedures performed include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. A positive attitude and a team player mindset are essential qualities for the best personality fit for this role. The dress code for the unit is navy blue scrubs, with solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts permitted. Candidates are expected to adhere to attendance policies.
