Yard Supervisor

U.S. Aqua Services is hiring a Yard Supervisor to supervise daily yard operations at our New Iberia, Louisiana facility, leading work crews through equipment maintenance, load-outs, and yard organization to keep dredging projects supplied and on schedule. The standard shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm; overtime hours and weekends may be required as necessary to repair equipment. Overnight travel to jobsite locations will be required. Responsibilities: Supervise work crews performing equipment maintenance tasks, load-outs, and yard organization Plan, assign, and prioritize daily work tasks and activities for the yard crew Coordinate equipment load-outs and deliveries to job sites to meet project timelines Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient yard with equipment staged and ready for deployment Enforce company safety policies and lead by example in all yard activities Conduct safety briefings and ensure crews use proper procedures and protective equipment Track equipment status and communicate maintenance needs to the mechanic team and management Monitor crew performance, provide direction and training, and address issues on the spot Keep accurate records of yard inventory, equipment movements, and completed work Qualifications: Preferred: Experience in a marine construction, dredging, or heavy equipment yard environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate work crews Strong safety mindset with knowledge of jobsite safety practices and procedures Ability to effectively plan, manage, and follow through on multiple work tasks and activities Working knowledge of heavy equipment, rigging, and load-out procedures Clear verbal and written communication skills Can work independently with minimum supervision Flexible to work during odd hours as project schedules require Additional Requirements: Overnight travel to jobsite locations will be required Physical movement and field work as listed in the job description Strict compliance with PPE (personal protective equipment) safety regulations Compliance with all Federal, State and Local safety and company regulations All employees must follow all Company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures U.S. Aqua is a drug-free workplace #J-18808-Ljbffr Usdredge
