Job Summary:
A Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves working in a progressive care setting, providing direct patient care, and supporting patients transitioning from intensive care. The RN will operate primarily on day shifts, with a focus on flexibility and clinical expertise in step down or progressive care units.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), or Telemetry Acute Care, experience with EPIC electronic health record systems, and ability to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hospital setting with acute care units; familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures.
• Additional Information: The traveler will be placed on a unit based on the greatest need, whether in a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit, depending on their skills. The role requires floating onsite within the skill set or to locations within 40 miles if needed.
