Epic Billing Queue Management Technician | Roseville, CA

Location: Roseville, CA Schedule: Day Shift | 8-hour shift Assignment: 13 weeks | Onsite The Opportunity Bring your Epic Resolute and medical billing expertise to a role where your work directly impacts the revenue cycle. We’re looking for an Epic Billing Queue Management Technician to manage daily billing work queues, resolve claim and charge issues, and keep accounts moving efficiently toward accurate, timely reimbursement. What You’ll Do Monitor and work Epic Resolute billing queues, including claim edits, charge review, follow-up, denials, and credits. Review and resolve billing errors while ensuring claims meet payer and regulatory requirements. Analyze accounts and correct patient, coverage, guarantor, and charge-level information. Prioritize work based on dollar value, aging, timely filing deadlines, and department priorities. Identify recurring billing issues and elevate system or workflow problems. Partner with coding, registration, clinical departments, billing, and Epic/IT teams. Document account activity accurately in Epic. Support workflow improvements, Epic upgrades, testing, and billing queue changes. Maintain productivity, quality, HIPAA, and compliance standards. What You Bring 2+ years of medical billing, claims processing, or revenue cycle experience. 1+ year of hands‑on Epic Resolute experience working billing queues (HB, PB, or both). Working knowledge of UB-04, CMS‑1500, CPT, HCPCS, ICD‑10, and revenue codes . Experience with commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing. High school diploma/GED required. Experience with clearinghouses or payer portals such as SSI, Availity, Waystar, or Experian is a plus. Epic Resolute certification/training or revenue cycle certification is a plus.
