Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12, 7:30–20:00) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume border role supporting ER, Medical Surgical/Telemetry, and IMC border patients within scope of practice
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio across a 46-room unit with an average daily census ranging from 10 to 40 border patients
• Care for patients presenting with a wide variety of diagnoses, including complex ED admission diagnoses
• Float as required between ED border, extender, MS/T, and IMC units within specialty and scope
• Work holidays as scheduled and every other weekend as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
• Ability to float within scope with no restrictions; travelers are first to float

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a border, high-acuity, or emergency department adjacent environment
• Comfort working in high-volume, fast-paced settings with diverse and complex patient populations
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
