LPN / LVN - Correctional Health

LPN / LVN Correctional Health

Provide direct nursing care and administer medications/treatments under the supervision of an RN or physician. Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document findings accurately. Assist in the management of chronic and acute medical conditions. Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or urgent care as needed. Support infection control, safety, and health promotion practices within the facility. Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with state and facility regulations. Educate patients on prescribed treatments, health maintenance, and wellness practices.

Current, valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license with eligibility to practice in NC). CPR/BLS certification required. Previous nursing experience preferred; correctional or acute care experience a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a secure and fast-paced environment.
