Job Description We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lakewood, United States. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you'll work collaboratively with your team to receive, stock, stage, and ship materials in a manner that meets our company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. Receive incoming materials from vendors, customers, and other warehouse locations, verifying quantities and descriptions against packing lists Stock and organize incoming orders on shelves in designated areas in an orderly manner Prepare and process customer orders from the warehouse, ensuring correct product types and quantities are selected Process shipment paperwork, including verification of merchandise, application of labels and postage, and adherence to customer shipping instructions Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles with precision and care Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records Inspect equipment and perform minor maintenance tasks; alert supervisors to any repair or service needs Report freight damage claims and maintain detailed documentation of warehouse transactions Contribute to a culture of safety by following established Standard Operating Procedures and Environmental Health and Safety rules Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines Assist with training entry-level warehouse staff and provide mentorship when needed Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations Qualifications **Required Qualifications:** Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse environment Ability to handle loads safely and work in a fast-paced setting Strong knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace Willingness to adhere to safety procedures and warehouse protocols Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively as part of a team Basic computer knowledge for warehouse management systems Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations **Preferred Qualifications:** Prior warehouse or logistics experience Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment General knowledge of electrical products or related industry experience High School diploma or GED Problem-solving abilities and resilience in handling workplace challenges Experience with inventory management systems Additional Information Physical Demands: Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position - Occasionally – up to 20% Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Constantly – at least 51% Use hands to finger, handle, or feel: Operates a computer and other office machinery - Constantly – at least 51% Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Must be able to crouch down to stock shelves, pick up boxes, or position oneself to maintain computers in the lab/under desks/in server closet - Constantly – at least 51% Climb or balance: Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment - Constantly – at least 51% Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions - Constantly – at least 51% Weight and Force Demands: Up to 10 pounds - Constantly – at least 51% Up to 25 pounds - Constantly – at least 51% Up to 50 pounds - Constantly – at least 51% Working Environment: Exposed to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and/or exposure to heat and cold - Constantly – at least 51% Exposed to electrical hazards; risk of electrical shock - Constantly – at least 51% Handles or works with potentially dangerous equipment - Constantly – at least 51% Rexel USA (A VEVRAA Federal Contractor), and its affiliated companies, is an EEO/Disabled/Veterans employer.
