Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,385 per week

Job Description & Requirements We are seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Burke, Virginia. This is a 13‑week contract position, starting ASAP, with 36 hours per week split across 12‑hour flexible shifts. Schedule Monday: 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM Tuesday/Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Responsibilities Embrace the company’s core values and focus on patient and employee safety. Assist the Physical Therapist with therapeutic interventions, including posture training, strengthening exercises, balance exercises, and functional skills training. Demonstrate the use of various modalities such as whirlpools, hot/cold packs, and ultrasound. Monitor patient responses, ensuring safety and effectiveness in all activities. Document patient progress and facilitate patient and family education on therapy techniques. Maintain professional and ethical relationships with patients and staff members, consulting as needed with other healthcare disciplines. Participate in special projects aimed at improving patient care quality and efficiency. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
