Heavy Equipment Operator

Equipment Operator needed for operating Combilift with steel materials in Nashville for a temp-to-hire opportunity! Schedule is 1st, Monday thru Friday,7:00AM - 3:30PM/5:30PM. Pay rate is$20 - $24/hr.Candidates with vast experience and applicable list of skills with experience in steel industry could be considered for higher pay rates! Job Responsibilities Operate a specialized Combilift side-loader forklift to safely move, stage and organize steel products Load and unload steel materials from trucks and trailers Move long and oversized steel products throughout the facility Assist with loading customer orders accurately and efficiently Perform general material-handling and warehouse duties as needed Previous side-loader, skid steer, dozer or other heavy equipment operating experience Experience in the steel industry, will consider candidates with lumber yard experience preferred. Will overlook for candidates with the above experience. Must be able to read a tape measure and understand basic fractions Ability to work around and handle heavy steel products Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment that is not climate controlled Steel-toe boots required Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
