Nurse Manager – Medical Telemetry

Schedule: Shift: Variable 07:00-17:00 Days: Full-time Days (No Weekends) and Evening Shift

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 1

Requirements: Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital experience Minimum 1 year experience as a full-time charge nurse, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management Minimum 2 years recent charge nurse/CNC experience in an acute care setting

Roles & Responsibilities: Organize and manage patient care functions on an ongoing basis to enhance patient outcomes Manage human resources, staff education, and monitor processes for continuous improvement Act as a role model for excellence in quality care and customer satisfaction Collaborate with medical staff informally and formally to improve patient outcomes Demonstrate critical thinking skills and leadership in planning care for patients Responsible for the planning, directing, and provision of nursing care in compliance with legal and administrative policies
