Employment Specialist Supporting individuals with disabilities

Employment Specialist/Coordinator for Pre-ETS Students Bloom Consulting is seeking a passionate and dedicated Employment Specialist to join our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program in Missoula, MT. This part-time, contract position offers a unique opportunity to empower students with disabilities as they develop workplace skills and navigate employment opportunities. Position Details Title: Employment Specialist/Coordinator for Pre-ETS Students Location: Missoula, MT Hours: depends on case load - up to 40 hours per week Salary: $20-$25/hour Supervisor: Christine Morrison Responsibilities Set up and coordinate Work-Based Learning Experiences, Job shadows, and/or Informational Interviews with local employers. Support students as they practice workplace skills and navigate job expectations. Establish and maintain strong relationships with local employers, addressing any concerns or behaviors that arise on-site. Market the program to businesses to create new employment opportunities for students. Document student progress and attend meetings with VRBS, School Liaisons, and employers as needed. Some travel in the greater Missoula Area Training as required by the state of Montana Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is required. Proven ability to build connections with businesses and market programs is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with High Schools, students, employers, and stakeholders. Able to manage schedule and maintain case notes and other administrative tasks in a timely manner. Interview Process An email will be sent to qualified candidates requesting an interview.
