This opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, to June 7, 2027, with three specific positions available—candidates are encouraged to indicate which role they would prefer during the application process.

Available positions:

• Anderson High School (7:20 AM – 2:30 PM): Life Skills Program, serving approximately 10 students
• Southview Preschool (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM): Inclusion Classroom, supporting about 10 students (two positions available)

Desired qualifications:

• Valid, active Indiana teaching license in Special Education (please include a current license screenshot with your application)
• Previous experience in special education settings, particularly with life skills and/or inclusion models
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with staff and families
• Empathy, patience, and creative problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized instruction based on students’ IEPs
• Adapt lessons to meet a diverse range of needs within the classroom
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Monitor and document student progress, actively communicating with families
• Foster a supportive, respectful classroom climate where all learners can thrive
• Participate in relevant meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
