- Risk Management is responsible for identifying, tracking trends, and investigating significant clinical issues and in the investigation of adverse patient outcomes and other institutional risk issues
- Investigating adverse patient events and facility related risk matters within established timeframe
- Coordinating and presenting an accurate and timely synopsis of clinical situation and potential impact
- Participating in issue specific task forces as needed
- Identifying, tracking and trending significant clinical issues
- Participate in the development of tracking tools for risk management case reviews, risk management issue reviews, risk management indicators, and other topics as needed
- Attending State regulatory meetings regarding patient safety and risk management
- Must have Tennessee RN license
- Must have long term care/skilled nursing experience
- Must have risk management experience
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
