Job Title: OBGYN Registered Ultrasound Sonographer
Location: Associated Women’s Healthcare

Training Schedule : As needed for 1 week Office Open M-F 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM 

**Pay Training: $20 Each Patient Scanned****

Daily Schedule : PRN Office Hours M-F 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay : $30.00 to 40.00 Per Patient Scan

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OBGYN Registered Ultrasound Sonographer to join our busy, growing practice. As a highly skilled professional, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic ultrasound examinations focusing on the female reproductive system, all-trimester pregnancies, and, where applicable, high-risk pregnancies. This role is integral to supporting the diagnosis and management of complicated gynecological conditions and early pregnancy-related complications

The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with AIUM guidelines and report findings to our physicians to assist with accurate diagnostic interpretation and optimal patient care.

This position requires excellent patient rapport, a commitment to high-quality imaging, and the ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ultrasound Examinations : Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to AIUM guidelines, focusing on OBGYN sonography.
• High-Quality Imaging : Ensure high-quality images are obtained and processed in a timely manner.
• Data Reporting : Present all exam data and findings to the physician promptly.
• Electronic Health Records (EHR) : Enter patient information into the EHR system to generate diagnostic reports.
• Collaboration and Flexibility : Exhibit adaptability and flexibility and prioritize tasks to assist physicians as needed.
• Patient Rapport : Develop and maintain excellent rapport with patients to ensure excellent patient care and positive experience.

Qualifications:

• Education : Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Certification : Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Experience : Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Knowledge : Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in OBGYN practice or similar clinical setting (3 yrs Preferred).
• Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities.

Licensure/Certification:

• Required :
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential with an OB/GYN specialty through the Association of Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
