Data Architect

Job Summary: Required experience 6 7+ years of strong hands-on Databricks experience Approximately 3+ years working in a Data Architect / technical architecture capacity Must remain hands-on technically this is not a high-level architecture/management role Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms Pharma/life sciences experience strongly preferred Consulting/client-facing experience preferred

• Deep hands-on Databricks PySpark / Spark AWS cloud data environment
• Data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and automation
• End-to-end data architecture and pipeline design
• Production-grade data platform experience
• DBT exposure/experience
• Snowflake experience is a plus
• Ability to establish architecture/design standards and conduct technical/design reviews
• Ability to guide data engineers while still contributing hands-on

• Excellent communication skills this is a major requirement
• Strong customer-service/client mindset
• Positive attitude
• Excellent listener; does not interrupt or talk over others
• Able to read the room and adjust communication appropriately
• Able to communicate technical concepts so both technical and business stakeholders understand
• Comfortable operating as a trusted technical advisor with leadership
