Twin Rivers has some of the newest technology available today, and is one of three in the St. Louis and IL metro region to house a 3.0 Tesla MRI unit. This MRI unit is a powerful imaging systemPreferred Qualifications:Role Purpose:Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of a MRI, CT, Interventional Radiology, or Mammography Department.Responsibilities:Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.Monitors and organizes department resources to maximize productivity and ensure optimal patient outcomes.Serves as liaison between staff and physicians.Evaluates the care and testing delivered and intervenes appropriately to ensure optimal patient outcomes.May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.Ensures department's readiness/preparedness for all regulatory body inspections or certifications (i.e., TJC, State, ACR, ICCS, etc.)Ensures appropriate staffing levels are achieved and has the ability/licensure to step into staff Advanced Technologist role, as needed.BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position.
