Your New Role Work as an Outside Sales Representative based in Stratford, Connecticut, serving Fairfield County, New Haven County, and surrounding markets. Conduct in-home residential HVAC sales consultations and evaluate customer comfort, equipment, efficiency, and project needs. Convert qualified sales opportunities into residential HVAC installation projects. Educate homeowners on HVAC replacement options, heat pumps, geothermal systems, high-efficiency equipment, energy incentives, and financing where applicable. Develop and present customized proposals that clearly communicate equipment options, performance, project scope, and value. Build customer relationships through clear communication, consultative sales, and consistent follow-through. Manage appointments, customer communication, sales opportunities, and your pipeline throughout the territory. Collaborate with installation and internal teams to provide accurate project handoffs and a positive customer experience. Drive residential HVAC sales by matching customers with appropriate home comfort solutions. Perform other duties as assigned. 2+ years of sales experience. HVAC, home services, clean energy, or residential in-home sales experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals. Strong consultative sales, communication, negotiation, presentation, and follow-up skills. Ability to independently manage a field-based schedule, appointments, customer relationships, and sales pipeline. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel throughout the assigned sales territory. Commitment to integrity, accountability, customer service, and delivering results.
